Crowned by the King Ministries

Crowned by the King Crown NecklaceCrowned By the King is a women’s ministry that uses a unique, crown necklace to help women creatively share the love of Christ with other women (a friend, family member, or even a stranger). Their goal is for women to know they are loved, cherished, and beautiful Daughters of the King. Psalms 45:11 says…”The King is enthralled by your beauty; honor him for he is your Lord.”

The ministry kit contains a lovely crown necklace in a pouch and a Crowned by the King Ministry Guide. There are several different methods of using the ministry kit/necklace:

  • The Compliment Opportunity: While you are wearing your necklace, someone compliments you on it. You use this opportunity to share the love of Christ and/or your testimony with them. You then give them your necklace.
  • The Need Opportunity: You have a specific person in mind that you know needs a glimmer of hope, of Christ in their life. You give them the necklace and share a testimony of hope, love, the Lord with them. Sharing scripture during this moment is always a plus.
  • The Friend or Family Member Opportunity: Think of someone in your life, a friend, mom, daughter, sister…, who you would like to bless. You purchase and give a necklace to them. Use this gift as an opportunity to share with them how much they mean to you and the Lord.
  • A Women’s Retreat or Women’s Event: Use a special event as a chance to share God’s love with a large group of women, girls.

These are just a few examples of a Crowned Moment, but they certainly aren’t limited to these ideas.

I had all of these great ideas of what would be my Crowned Moment with my necklace, but life kept getting in the way. I had planned to take it with me for after Thanksgiving shopping, but then I ended up not being able to go shopping on Black Friday as planned due to the house flooding. I then started thinking of others things “I” could do. The key word right there is “I”. Unfortunately, I didn’t pray about all of this which I realized quickly was my downfall. You see, the main focus of this ministry is blessing other with God’s love. Therefore, shouldn’t I be seeking His input into what I should do with the necklace?

With this new attitude in hand, I began to patiently wait for His leading. I knew that He would present the opportunity if I was patient. While I was waiting, I started to think about what it really meant to be a daughter of the King. At that point in time, it was clear that it meant that no matter how crazy, how insecure this world felt, I always had eternal security in the safety of my Heavenly Father’s arms. That is a pretty powerful thought.

Daughter of the King

I decided that the first necklace needed to go to my daughter as a reminder that she was a child of the King of Kings. She was precious in His sight. He was always looking out for her and encouraging her to make the right decisions in her life. It didn’t matter if she was unsure of the direction of her life because she had the security that listening to the Lord’s leading would send her down the right path. She grinned from ear to ear when I gave her the necklace and explained the meaning behind it. She quickly put it on and looked forward to sharing it with others. I then explained to her a little about the ministry, so she could always keep it in the back of her mind that someone else may come into her life who needs that little extra blessing….

The second necklace is still waiting to find a new home with someone else who needs a ray of hope in their life. I’m waiting to hear who the Lord wants me to give the necklace to. It could happen today or it could happen some time in the future. That is the beauty of this ministry. It allows each individual to work in the Lord’s time and not their own.
