Amazing Bible Timeline Review

Posted in Reviews

As part of the TOS Crew, I was sent a copy of the The Amazing Bible Timeline to review.

  • See Bible and World History together – the research across multiple cultures and books has been done for you
  • Understand the Bible better by seeing everything organized in one view
  • Know when key people or events happened
  • Visualize the rise and fall of nations, the history of man at a glance

The Amazing Bible Timeline is HUGE (37″ X 45″).  Our first issue was figuring out where to put the timeline.  It was too large to place on our table (our first choice).  Our next choice was to find space on our walls.  Well, that didn’t work either.  In the end, we just unrolled it when we wanted to look at it.

Munchkin thought the layout of this timeline was cool, but there was so much information that it was a bit overwhelming for her.  She prefers things to be broken down into smaller sizes. In addition, the small print put a strain on her eyes, so she didn’t want to spend much time looking at it.

Timelines are meant to be used as a tool in our schooling.  Since there is no way one timeline can include everything, we know that there will always be some events missing.  There also may be things included on the timeline that we may not agree with.  We know each company uses different sources for their timelines, so information will vary from timeline to timeline.

You can find information about the source documents for The Amazing Bible Timeline here, and you can read more about the information on the timeline here (this page answers questions about LDS doctrine and the Book of Mormon being referenced on the timeline).  With this information, you can decide if this timeline would be a good fit for your family.  Due to doctrinal issues, I am not comfortable making recommendations one way or another on this timeline.

The Amazing Bible Timeline offers a 60 day money back guarantee.  You can purchase one timeline for $29.97 or two timelines for $49.97 plus shipping.

I received a copy of the Amazing Bible Timeline for this review.
No other compensation was received.  All opinions are my own.

That looks really cool…but it would be better if it was smaller.
