  • How to Draw King George

Here’s a peak into Lettuce Love One Another:

If you’re an avid VeggieTales fan, you’ll be familiar with the episodes contained in this dvd collection. The episodes are tied together with the humurous bantering of Bob and Larry around the theme of loving one another. The first episode – Abe & The Amazing Promise – focuses on patience. It’s a VeggieTales twist on the Biblical story of Abraham and Sara. (Note: this is a simplified, short version of the Biblical account.) Bob interviews Abraham to learn more about the lives of Abraham and Sara and how they learned the importance of patience. The second episode – King George & the Ducky – focuses on putting others first. King George learns the importance of looking past his own desires and put others first. The final episode – Tomato Sawyer and Huckleberry Larry’s Big River Rescue – focuses on helping others. Between the episodes and part way through the episodes, Larry has some Biblical tidbits shorts that discuss topics such as prayer, sharing, helping…. While the ideas for the tidbits were good, I was disappointed that more effort wasn’t put into making them in a true VeggieTales style rather than them looking like coloring book characters.

The run time for the dvd is 123 minutes.
