One of Wyatt’s favorite hiding spots is under the rocking chair. He’ll grab a toy or treat and go run to the rocking chair to hide from Wiley.
He also just likes to hang out under it, but I have to watch him as he also likes to chew on it when no one is watching.
This is the rocking chair from my childhood. It’s had it’s fair share of abuse, but it’s held up well over the years. Wyatt isn’t the first little puppy to like it. I have a feeling that he won’t be the last either.
Training is going pretty well for both our guys. Wiley is pretty much house trained. He rarely has an accident these days. Wyatt still has a way to go, but he’s having fewer accidents as time goes on. He’s getting better at letting us know when he needs to go out. Unfortunately, he still needs to go out a couple of times a night, and he’s an early bird. lol! Needless to say, I’m rather tired these days. I know that as he gets older he’ll be able to go for longer stretches of time. I’m looking forward to it.
We’ve found that our trips to the dog park (on base) in the evenings have really helped settle them down. They always get a walk at night, but the added exercise of running around the dog park works even better. I keep saying that we need to go over there during the day as I want to get some pictures of Wiley running. He’s so pretty to watch, and he’s fast. It’s just too dark to get a good picture at night.
Love the pics and the story!!! 🙂 Gonna have to come back tomorrow and show kiddo your posting.
Have a great night. 🙂
