Jeremy Riddle: Furious

About the artist:

Four years on the road as a touring worship leader eventually took its toll on Jeremy, so in January 2011, the former Jr. High youth pastor came on staff as worship community pastor at Bethel Church in Redding, CA. Working under pastors Brian and Jenn Johnson, Jeremy facilitates a worship community of over 200 people within the church.

“My wife (Katie) and I have always had a heart to serve the local church and never wanted to do the full-time travel thing for very long, so it felt like a good time to transition into something different,” Jeremy says. “I’ve developed such an appreciation for the fruit that has been sowed from my life – personally and artistically – by being part of a local community.”

Consequently, Furious, Jeremy’s third studio project on Vineyard Music, came into fruition while coming to discover how closely (if not directly) correlated worship and community truly are with each other.

About the album:

“Furious” Jeremy Riddle’s 3rd full length album from Vineyard Music, is the newest collection of songs penned by this gifted songwriter and worship leader.

Furious communicates the story of God’s love and kingdom with strong worship anthems like the title cut, “Furious” and “One Thing Remains” to introspective musical devotions such as “God of the Redeemed” and “The Lord is My Shepherd.”

Jeremy’s newest songs are exceptional for congregational worship and personal worship moments. The songs include:

  1. Fall Afresh
  2. Furious
  3. Love Came Down
  4. One Thing Remains
  5. Acquitted
  6. You Are Good
  7. Walk in the Promise
  8. One Thirst
  9. Glory to the Lamb
  10. Lord My Shepherd
  11. Here
  12. Always
  13. Nations Rage

My Thoughts:

I found myself listening to the songs on this album multiple times since receiving the pre-release album.  The Lord used the songs to speak to me and lift my spirits more than once.  Both Munchkin and D really enjoyed the album.  I have a feeling that we’ll be listening to this album when we’re out exploring the Lord’s Creation.  There are a good blend of both slower and upbeat songs on the album.  Jeremy’s passion for the Lord comes through in every song.

The album will be released on September 20th.  You can keep up-to-date with Jeremy Riddle and other Vineyard Music artists on both Facebook and Twitter.
