Shucking Corn

Corn on the CobProject 365 – #243

On Saturday, we picked up our Bountiful Baskets order which included a nice large box of corn.  We’ve enjoyed some of the fresh corn, but today, it was time to get it all shucked, boiled, and frozen to enjoy at a later date.  I had forgotten how much I really don’t care for shucking that many ears of corn at once.  There is a reason that we all had to do it as kids.  It’s because the adults didn’t really want to do it.  **wink**  It’s worth it though because we ended up with lots of yummy corn on the cob in the freezer.  (Normally Munchkin helps me with these tasks, but she was busy working on her schoolwork while I did this today.)
