Definitely the Road Less Traveled

Project 365 – #202 Remember that trail sign that I posted yesterday?  Well, we thought we were going down the easy way, but it turns out we were wrong.  Because D’s activities are soooo limited right now, I ended up doing a lot of hiking to scout out the trail ahead as well as spotting as we went through some crazy areas.  D enjoyed himself, but he would have been much happier to go through this particular area at a time when he was feeling 100%.  He felt a bit guilty that I was doing so much scouting and spotting…

Project 365 – #200 We’ve lived here over 2 years now, and we’ve seen some wildlife here and there during our exploration.  Most often, very little is seen while we’re out exploring.  Over the 4th of July, we were blessed with being able to see an abundant number of animals and birds while we were out driving.  We saw 2 different herds of big horn sheep, multiple herds of wild burros, jack rabbits, bunnies, desert fox, chipmunks, lizards, various birds including an owl, and various other little critters.  We were amazed to say the least.  I was able to capture…
