Animals of the Desert

Project 365 – #200

We’ve lived here over 2 years now, and we’ve seen some wildlife here and there during our exploration.  Most often, very little is seen while we’re out exploring.  Over the 4th of July, we were blessed with being able to see an abundant number of animals and birds while we were out driving.  We saw 2 different herds of big horn sheep, multiple herds of wild burros, jack rabbits, bunnies, desert fox, chipmunks, lizards, various birds including an owl, and various other little critters.  We were amazed to say the least.  I was able to capture a good number of animals on camera as well.  Too say I was a little giddy would be an understatement.  That day held more adventure for us.  We just didn’t realize it – yet….
