Jumping DogProject 365 – #120

It’s funny how animals do crazy things when they are excited.  Our puppy will chase his tail or run around and do short little barks when he gets really excited.  It’s fun to see him get these little bursts of energy out of no where.  When we were out walking, we saw this dog in a backyard.  He kept jumping up to see us over the backyard wall.  It was way too funny.  I finally was able to snap a picture while he was jumping in the air.  This is one of those pictures that doesn’t truly tell the story as you can’t see the whole thing, but it’s a funny memory for us.

Today was a rather rough day for D.  He’s really hurting, so it feels like he’s taken several steps backwards in his recovery.  I keep reminding him that it’s only been a few days since the surgery, but it’s still hard when you’re able to do things one day but not the next.  I’m sure we’ll see many hills and valleys over the next few months.  We’re just continuing to put our trust in the Lord and His timing.  He is our strength and comfort in times of need.

On a positive note, D has been able to sleep at night which is a real blessing.  He was having such difficulty sleeping prior to surgery, so this is a wonderful thing for both of us.

Cute puppy! Yes it is so sweet & funny when they do silly little things, ours gets all excited and shakes her bunny like she’s trying to shake the stuffing out of it!

Just keep telling D that you feel worse before you start to feeling better…it takes a few days for all of the pain medication that they pump into you at the hospital to wear off & when it does the pain comes a little stronger. He’s in my prayers & he’ll be feeling great in no time!

God Bless to all of you, hope you were able to enjoy your Sunday 🙂
