Munchkin was excited that she would have the opportunity to work on her geometry in a different format. She would receive instant feedback for her work, and she would receive helps as needed. Each week, Munchkin was assigned four worksheets. She would log onto her account to work on them. Each worksheet had a video lesson and 3 helps. (Note: Munchkin did not care for the person teaching the lessons due to his accent, so she skipped the lessons and just used the helps.) Each help that was used reduced her comprehension level for the lesson.

We found that the lessons were lacking a bit when the concepts were new for Munchkin.  She struggled to be able to grasp new concepts.  I think it would honestly have helped her if she could have understood the instructor, but as stated before, she had difficultly with the instructor’s accent.hat

I really liked receiving weekly email reminders about the worksheets that needed to be completed by Munchkin.  I also appreciated that Munchkin could not move on with a topic until she truly understood it.  While it may be slightly frustrating to her to have to do concepts multiple times, it could lead to a better understanding of the concepts being presented.

Another great feature is being able to put the worksheets on hold if your child is ill or you’re out of town.  The student can then resume their schedule when they are ready.  The flexibility in the program is a plus.  With a few tweaks, I think this would be a great program.

I recommend trying it out to see if it will work for you and your student.
