O Holy Night

O Holy Night is one of my favorite CHRISTmas songs. It doesn’t focus on CHRISTmas, but rather, it focuses on the awe and wonder of the Christ child being born.  Before the Messiah was born, there was much talk about when He would come and how He would come.  He was born simply, yet it did great things.

Now, we sit here, once again, waiting for His return, His second coming.  We, once again, have the sense of anticipation and wonder as we think about how great things will be when we one day join Him in eternal paradise.  As we contemplate these things, it reminds us that we really do need to be proclaiming the wondrous news of our Savior’s birth, death, and resurrection.

His law is love and His Gospel is peace.
