O Holy Night

Posted in Christian Life

O’ Holy Night – Celine Dion

O Holy night, the stars are brightly shining
It is the night of our dear Savior’s birth
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
‘Til He appeared and the soul felt it’s worth
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn

Fall on your knees
O hear the angel voices
O night divine!
O night when Christ was born
O night divine!
O night, O night divine!

Truly He taught us to love one another
His law is love and His gospel is peace
Chains shall He break for the slave is our brother,
And in His Name, all oppression shall cease
Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we
Let all within us praise his holy name
Christ is the Lord
Their name forever praise we

Noel, Noel, and
O night, O night Divine
Noel, Noel
O night, O night Divine
Noel, Noel
O night, O holy Night

dear husband is napping right next to the pc, so I’ll come back later and listen to the song, when I can turn the sound up. 🙂

I hope you are feeling better every day!

This is my favourite song, too, and it sounds beautiful when sung to the glory of God.

What a lovely song! And I love the slogan: Jesus is the reason for the season! Amen! I homeschool too (not my own child) but right now it is our summer vacation. Enjoy counting down to Christmas.

Good morning! I am back to listen to song, as I have no nappers here now. DH is gone off to work. 🙂

I haven’t listened to Celine Dion in a few years and have forgotten what a beautiful voice she has. I’ll have to get her Christmas CD.
You always find the nicest and most fitting videos, etc. for your posts. Thanks for sharing!

Keep doing everything you need to be doing for full recovery. I’m sure that means patience, patience, patience. 🙂

Prayers for a lovely day! 🙂
