Fairyland Canyon is just outside of Bryce Canyon’s park gates, so we stopped here on the way out of the park when we were headed back to the campground.  Even with the cloudy skies and rain, it was a beautiful view.  With as stunning as the views were on a stormy, cloudy day, I can only imagine how breath-taking many of these stops would have been on a clear day. As we headed to Rainbow Point, the rain really begun to come down.  We had hoped that the sun would peak through the clouds and produce a lovely rainbow for us.  That was not to be on this day.  Rainbow Point would be our final stop in Bryce Canyon as we decided not to hike to Yovimpa Point.  Thanks to the shelter of a building and some trees, we were able to keep from getting completely soaked on this leg of our journey. When you first hear of toy animals costing from $3.00 to $35.00 each, you may think, “What???? Why would I pay that much for a toy animal figure?”  Then, you take a closer look at the Schleich animals, and you see the fine, hand-painted details.  You start to admire the realistic, well-made animals.  You realize that these aren’t cheap, plastic toys.  Instead, they are finely crafted, artistic pieces that will be well loved by children.  They will be played with over and over again and not fall apart.
