Ultimate Blog Party 2010

Welcome to Marine Corps Nomads!  I’m glad that you decided to stop by and visit.  We’re currently on vacation in the Grand Canyon, so I’ll be actively joining the party once we get back home.

As you may have guessed, we’re a military family.  I, Heather, am the one that does most of the blogging around here.  My husband, D, is an active duty Marine.  We’re currently stationed in Arizona, so I often write about our outdoor adventures in the desert.  We have a blast hiking, camping, exploring…  I homeschool our daughter, Munchkin.  It’s hard to believe that she’ll be turning 11 next week!

    OOHRAH to you! I am also a Marine wife (although my husband is out now) – once a Marine wife, Always a Marine wife. I’ve actually been following your blog for about a month, and love your posts – and was excited to see you on the UBP. I am pleased to see the gluten free info, I am going to pass that onto my cousin who has to follow a gluten free diet. Her daughters are always trying to find new recipes to use (daughters are both vegetarians too).

    Enjoy your vacation – maybe someday we’ll be able to pull our camper there (but M needs a new truck before we take something THAT far from Georgia!).
