Cranberry Salad

Posted in Gluten Free

Cranberry Salad A friend of our family brought us over some of this cranberry salad after my surgery.  It was one of the things that sat well with my stomach.  I really enjoyed it and asked for the recipe.  While this is normally made for the holidays, it would be great any time of the year.  It’s one of those classic potluck dishes.  I modified the original recipe just slightly. Ingredients: 1 large package of raspberry jello 1 can whole berry cranberry sauce 1 small can of crushed pineapple, drained 1/2 a block of cream cheese 1/2 C sour cream…

We all have decisions to make about our time and priorities.  It’s pretty much impossible to get everything done that we’d like to accomplish each day even if we cut out all tv or other things viewed as time wasters. We always have one more thing that needs to be done or could be done. After my…

Kitchen Table Bakers offers a full line of crisps that are made entirely of Parmesan cheese.  These wheat, gluten, sugar, and trans fat free crisps are rich in calcium and protein but low in carbs. I really like Parmesan cheese, so these crisps are perfect for me.  I was able to try out the aged Parmesan mini crisps as well as the sesame Parmesan crisps. The aged Parmesan mini crisps won the gold sofi (specialty outstanding food innovation) award in 2009.  I can see why as they are delicious.  The sharp aged Parmesan flavor works well in this mini crisp. …
