Today, it was absolutely gorgeous outside. First thing this morning we headed to the field for Munchkin’s soccer game.
The kids played really hard today, and that hard work payed off with the first win of the season. Munchkin was tired but thrilled. After the game, we headed home for an early lunch because we were headed out to a local car show ~ Midnight at the Oasis.
This isn’t a little car show. It’s absolutely HUGE. There were four sections with rows and rows and rows of cars. In D’s honor, I took quite of few pictures of car lines for the Foto Friday Challenge this week. There were so many cars to see that we just couldn’t see them all. So many beautiful cars, so little time.
After the car show, we ran into our local discount grocery store and scored some very inexpensive gluten free and organic food. D is heading out of town for a week, so it was nice to find some good, cheap snacks for him to take with him.
Last night, D set up Munchkin’s trampoline, so we had to pick up a few cinder blocks to weigh it down and keep it from being flipped over by the wind. D took care of putting those down while I put away our great grocery finds. I was able to rest for a few minutes (dealing with headaches again) while D prepared omelets for supper. Yum!
I managed to get a little sunburned while we were out, but we had a wonderful day together. Tomorrow, we’ll say our goodbyes at the airport, but for now, we’ll enjoy the rest of our evening.
WTG must go out to Munchkin and her team 🙂

Well, Munchkin looked like she was playing her heart out 🙂 Glad you had fun and the car show, take care of your headache & your sunburn…I got one too on my face 🙂 we spent the day at the beach, just a beuatiful day!
