Sweet Potato Muffins

Posted in Gluten Free, and Homemaking

The aromatic hint of nutmeg and cinnamon mixed with sweet potatoes fills our house each Thanksgiving. These muffins have become a huge favorite at our table.  This year, I decided to try to make the recipe a little healthier.  I’ll post both versions.  You can find my original, non gluten free recipe here. Awana Cowgirl Night

Posted in Christian Life

Last Wednesday was Cowgirl/Cowboy Night at Awana. The kids had a blast. Everyone that dressed up got an extra chance to throw a whipped cream pie at the Awana Commander. Monday night, Daddy got home early. Munchkin was thrilled because they would finally be able to at least do one dissection. After we ate dinner, Munchkin and Daddy got their dissection area all set up. Unfortunately, our poor earthworm dried…

Standing speechless, a terrible fear tore at her throat, and for a split second she thought of the will. Only Sam knew the hiding place.             “Sam!” Eliza screamed. “Oh, Sam, Oh, my dear Sam.” She knelt beside her husband, head on his chest, weeping uncontrollably. Sarah rushed to Eliza’s side as Esther flew through the doorway. Seeing her daddy on the floor staggered her, sending…
