Apparently, we’re in monsoon season here. We didn’t really know what all that entailed as this was a new one for us. We’re use to hurricane season and tornadoes, but monsoons are a new one.
Today, we are getting a taste of some of what takes place during monsoon season.
Our first major sandstorm was followed by a downpour which was followed by another sandstorm. When downpours occur, we have to watch out for flash floods.
Now, we’re listening to the whistling of the wind. The fledgling trees whip back and forth with every gust of wind. The sand looks for cracks and crevices to sneak into. Trash bags roll down the street and a large trampoline flips end over end until it hits a tree.
Yes, it’s quite an interesting day…
