On Friday, Munchkin had her VBS closing ceremony. Daddy was finally able to make it. Somehow, he has always been gone for VBS in the past, so it was a treat for him to be there for the performance. All the kids did a great job with the singing. Munchkin was bummed to see it all end, but she was also glad that she didn’t have to get up so early every morning. lol! They brought home all of their crafts on Friday, so it was fun seeing their different camp related projects.
Today, we found this praying mantis on the side of our house. Munchkin was so excited to capture him in her new bug catcher that she made at VBS. She quickly found a cricket to put in the bug catcher with the praying mantis thinking that maybe the praying mantis would eat the cricket. We have an abundance of crickets around us. I guess we’ll find out the fate of the cricket tomorrow.
