Rain and Rising Water

We have rain steadily falling and the water behind our house is slowly rising. We’ve never seen it so high, so we’ve been watching it. Munchkin thought Daddy might like to see some pictures.

This is the view we now have from the backyard. Usually, the water is much lower. In fact, during low tide, it is often just mud.

On a normal day, when we look down like this, there is a pathway leading down to the water. In addition, there is some very tall grass at the water’s edge.

There is usually a nice island in this view. It’s almost disappeared. Hopefully, our little fox decided to come over to this side of the land… (The little blurs are just the big rain drops.)
