A Glimmer of Light

Munchkin has begun the road to recovery. I was relieved to finally see a good bit of improvement today. She actually ate 2 meals, and she sat up and colored for a while. I was working my way through a couple of boxes of misc stuff from the attic, and I came across a couple of coloring books. She eagerly took one of them and began to color. The Lord Provides

Munchkin is still sick. It was a beautiful day today, so I had her sit outside for a little while to get some fresh air. I also opened the windows and aired out the house. This beautiful weather was a true blessing after all of the rainy, dreary days that we’ve been having. Another blessing arrived in the form of an anonymous care package. This brightened Munchkin’s spirits and put a huge grin on her face when she saw personalized cards for her and a stuffed animal. Time of Rest

Munchkin woke up feeling quite ill yet this morning. Thankfully, the ear pain had passed, so the day, while difficult, wasn’t nearly as bad. Since she wanted me with her in the living room, I decided to take the opportunity to read and get some planning done for the upcoming school year. I was able to get a whole book ready today which was such a treat. I truly love to read, and I don’t often have the opportunity to just sit down and read an entire book in a few sittings.
