Bible Study/Devotions: In the morning, I am reading the Daily Bread devotionals. In the evening, I am continuing to work my way through the Beth Moore book To Live is Christ. Munchkin will be continuing with her Keys for Kids devotions. She is also doing her Frontline Kids “workbook” for Wednesday night program.

Must Do List: I really need to get some baking done to send my beloved. I am way behind on getting him homebaked goods. He’s still received packages/letters/cards, but there’s nothing like home cookin’. We’ll be continuing our work on home organization.

Train Them Up: We’re still working on our new routine. Gradually, we’re adding more things back into our homeschooling day. In addition, we’re working on getting Munchkin back on track for chores.

Prayer Request: Please pray for Munchkin as she is struggling with really missing her Daddy lately. We’ve had some late nights as she’s been having difficulty falling asleep.

Menu Planning:

Know that I am praying for you and Munchkin. I know how hard it can be with ‘daddy’ away. Lean on the Lord and He will see you through. One thought that just came to me.. how about making a ‘Daddy Doll’ for Munchkin. You can get a plain rag doll and each week add something to it. Plan it so that the doll will be complete the day before ‘daddy’ is to return. I don’t know how much time you have left before he gets to come home but I bet that will help pass the time a little. I mean there are so many places now that you can get Military Uniforms for bears and things I am sure you can find a way to make it look just like him.
I do hope he will be home soon.

Your menu looks really good too.
Thinking of you today and always, your Secret Sister.

I will keep Munchkin and you in my prayers. Can you share more about Keys for Kids devotions? I have a daughter around Munchkin’s age.

    Your friend,
    Trina
