Yes, I got up very early this morning to pick up a few things from the store. For those who would rather stay cozy and warm at home, there are some great sales online. Homeschool Estore is holding their second annual Black Friday Giveaway and Sale. There are at least 20 freebies plus great sale prices on their other products. Hands of a Child is also having their great Black Friday sale. The earlier you begin shopping, the more you will save. Looks Like Fun!!

I decided to get a head start on the Thanksgiving meal. I boiled the potatoes for the mashed potatoes. When I started to mash them, Munchkin declared, “That looks like fun! I want to do it!” So, she mashed the potatoes. While she mashed, I got to work on our gluten-free pie crust. Now, I’ve never made a pie crust (usually make the filling with Libby’s pie filling and buy pie crust). This was a new experience on 2 accounts: first pie crust and first gluten-free pie.
