Can I just say that it’s a bit hard to have a lot to talk about with my marriage when my hubby is in another state? But, I’m doing what I can to make his life easier.
We laughed as he got ready to leave on Sunday to head back down to his unit. I had made lots of bread and goodies for him. Plus, we had gone shopping for gluten-free food that was easy for him to prepare. I also made him yummy gluten-free lasagna to take with him to heat up later. Anyway, he had several bags of food and a cooler filled to the brim. Hey, just cause he’s gone doesn’t mean that I can’t make sure that he’s eating ok, right?
Now, once he’s deployed, it will be a bit more difficult. Alas, I’ll just have to settle for making goodies that will travel well. I’m sure that he’ll be receiving lots and lots of packages from home.
So, I guess my job while he’s gone continues to be making his life easier in whatever way that I can.
I am praying for you my friend and think you are doing an excellent job as wife and mom. I am proud of you and love your blog.
Hugs,

God bless your family for the service you all are doing for our country. I pray for a growing marriage relationship even at times of being far away from each other. I pray for safety for your hubby in deployment and for you and your child at home.
Heather, you are such a beautiful and Godly wife. We can all take you as an example how to treat our husband’s well. I think it is just awesome that you sent him off with all the special foods prepared for him.
You are a true blessing…
