Hamburger or Hot Dog Buns (Gluten-Free) Ingredients: 3/4 C Rice Flour1/4 C Potato Starch1/2 C Tapioca Starch2 tsp baking powder1 tsp xanthan gum1/2 tsp salt1 Tbsp sugar2 Eggs1/3 C Oil1/2 C milk Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix dry ingredients in one bowl and wet ingredients in another bowl.2. Mix wet ingredients with dry ingredients. Spray cookie sheet with pam. As sandwiches and toast are a big part of our daily diet, I needed to find an alternative that was gluten-free. We didn’t want to sacrifice texture and flavor. This recipe found over at recipezaar fit the bill. I decided to put it in the bread machine at the gluten-free setting instead of baking it in the oven. We really wanted some pizza, but ordering out is no longer an option. I found this recipe for gluten-free pizza in one of Donna Washburn and Heather Butt’s cookbooks. Yum, peanut butter cookies… Around here, we enjoy our sweets. I knew that going gluten-free may mean some changes, but I didn’t want it to have to be a horrible change. Off I went in search of some easy, yummy sweets. I stumbled across a recipe for flourless peanut butter cookies. Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies 1 Cup Peanut Butter (crunchy or creamy is fine)1 Cup Sugar1 Egg1 tsp baking powder Cream together the ingredients until smooth.
