DIY Storage Containers from Recycled Materials

Posted in Homemaking, and Thrifty Ideas

My daughter decided that she needed some containers to store her things in. I didn’t want to spend any money, so I went to see what I had around the house. I found several oatmeal containers. While I knew that she’d be ok with plain storage containers, I thought it would be fun to create something a little fancier and fun. After locating some recycled wrapping paper, I cut circles out of the wrapping paper for the lids and rectangle strips to wrap the containers. Ingredients: 1 1/2 C flour 1 tsp nutmeg 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 1 C brown sugar…

I have mashed potatoes easily available at all times. Yum!! Loaded mashed potatoes also make a really great lunch for Little Song Bird and I. D, on the other hand, needs…
