56 Signers of the Declaration of Independence Notebooking Pages

Once Munchkin finishes up with Mystery of History Volume 3, we’ll be starting a study of the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence as well as a study of the Declaration of Independence itself. For our studies, we’re going to be using For You They Signed by Marilyn Boyer as the spine and then add in some other books and resources. (We had originally received this book as a review item and started using it as part of her history curriculum, but after studying a few of the men, we decided that to truly get an in-depth study we needed to use this as the spine of our study. For this reason, we set it aside for when she completed her MOH studies.)

Because this is study will be fairly in-depth, I wanted to make up notebooking pages where Munchkin could take notes about each of the men as well as answer discussion questions. I made up two pages for each man. I also plan on having her copy the Declaration of Independence. Obviously, this ended up being a lot of notebooking pages. lol! In addition to the notebooking pages, we’re going to be using some of the character trait pages from the For You They Signed activity book. I haven’t decided how much copywork I will have Munchkin do with those.

The Signers of the Declaration of Independence notebooking pages are now part of the Marine Corps Nomads Homeschool Resource Library. They’re still free, but they’re now hosted right here. All of the free homeschool resources are available in one easy-access location. You can sign up for free access to the resource library below.

If you have friends or family who are interested in these free resources, please have them sign up as well. Thanks for your support!
