File Folder Games

Posted in Homeschooling

I’ve been having fun designing file folder game boards. I tried to make them somewhat generic, so they can be used in many different ways. Most of the game boards are black and white, so the kids can have fun personalizing their own game boards. Munchkin is looking forward to trying out the new games next week. Just click on the images to be taken to the download page for these game boards.

This is a science themed game board. I have made up cards using the review questions in Munchkin’s science curriculum.  You can find the game board here and the first set of cards here.

This is a health/nutrition themed game board. We’re using this for reviewing information from the units in our health/nutrition curriculum. For each unit, I’m making up cards to review the information that I feel is important for Munchkin to know.  You can find the game board here and the Unit One review cards here.

This animal track game board will be used for various animal related games. I have made up cards for Spanish/English names of animals. We’ll also use it with animal fact cards that we already own.

This autumn themed game board is going to be used for math review. I’ve made some number cards to go along with it.

Here are some of the things that we use for game pieces. I picked up a package of dice from the dollar store. The other pieces are buttons and charms that were on clearance an JoAnn Fabrics.

What a fun way to learn, and they're so well done – Munchkin is one lucky little girl.
