Having Fun with Lego Creationary

Posted in Reviews

Munchkin and D are huge Lego fans.  We have bins of Legos and Lego trains for Christmas.  When we heard that Lego had come out with Lego games, well, there was much excitement in the house to say the least.  A game that you could build out of Legos?  They felt this was very cool.  Players even build their own die.  Munchkin and D looked at several of the games, but couldn’t decide which one they would like to try out. Shortly after looking at the Lego games at a local store, I was contacted by Timberdoodle to see if…

Review: Lanschool

Posted in Reviews

LanSchool was originally geared towards the classroom setting, but now the home version gives parents a tool for making the internet a safer place for their whole family.  Through computer monitoring, screen shots, web-filtering, website blocking, and other key features, parents are able to better protect their kids from unwanted information and images.  Parents can limit the programs and computer features that their kids use on the computer.  By using the remote access feature, parents are able to blank out the computer screen. Review and Giveaway: Total Pillow

Posted in Reviews

If you watch tv, I’m sure you’ve seen the commercials for the Total Pillow, and like me, you were probably wondering if they really work.   It’s showcased as a multipurpose pillow that can be folded and twisted into 5 various shapes. It can be used to support the neck, lower back, ankles and knees. D was the first person to really try it out when he got home from work.  He sat down in his nice comfy recliner to relax and watch a little tv.  He tucked the pillow behind his head.  Before we knew it, he had comfortably fallen…
