Yuma Air Show 2010

This morning, we headed out to the Yuma Air Show.  It’s nice because it’s right here on base.  Plus, D was able to drive us right over to the entrance.  Munchkin and I walked around and looked at everything.  D was working, so he was only able to walk with us for a few minutes before he took us back home. Munchkin and I are spending the rest of the day relaxing while D is working.  It’s never fun when D has to work on the weekends, but thankfully, it doesn’t happen that often these days.  Hope everyone is having…

Foto Friday Challenge: Spring

I’ve been told that we’ve had more rain this year than is normal for this area. Since it’s our first year here, I really have no idea what to expect. It didn’t seem like we received that much rain, but we received enough that the desert has decided to come to life… These little flowers could be seen all over the place nestled in among the rocks.  There were tiny white, pink, and purple flowers all over the desert.
