Sweet Reward: Chocolate Chunk Muffins

Project 365 – #018 Sometimes, when you’ve been cleaning, purging, and organizing for some time, you need a little extra motivation to keep moving.  Today, Munchkin decided that she wanted something with chocolate, so I whipped up a batch of gluten free chocolate chunk muffins. The delicious aroma filled the house as we continued to sort through bags and boxes.  When the timer went off, I headed to the kitchen and pulled the muffins out of the oven.  After a short period of cooling off, we bit into the warm muffins.  Mmmm…. The Season for Organization

It seems that a new year lends itself to reorganizing the house.  We’re already putting away Christmas decorations, and we’re on a bit of a break from the normal day-to-day routine.  It’s the perfect time to dive into getting things more organized.  After all, we do need to find new homes for the goodies that we received as gifts, and we need to say goodbye to some items that are no longer needed. WFMW: Craft and Toy Storage

I try to keep lots of crafting supplies on hand for Munchkin and her friend.  The problem is keeping those supplies organized and easily in reach.  We had some of the plastic rolling carts, but they were always collapsing and breaking.  A few years back, we had purchased a couple of the Trofast system units from IKEA for storage of some of my things.  When we moved this time, I decided these would be perfect to store craft and school supplies. Works for Me Wednesday: Manual Binder

We had so many different product manuals lying around the house that it was crazy. Then, there were all the manuals that my husband had for all of his stuff in the garage. Needless to say, I needed to find a better way to organize them and keep them all in one location. I created binders (Garage Edition, House Edition, Electronics Edition) and put all of the manuals in sleeve protectors in the binders. (Ok, I’ll be honest.
