Foto Friday Challenge: Squares

Once again, we took to nature to find our challenge for this week ~ squares.  For the most part, I tried to find things that were a bit different than last week.  Other than the first photo, we found these items while we were out in the desert working on Munchkin’s dirt bike skills.  She does a few lessons, and then we look for things for the photo challenge.  It’s a lot of fun. Foto Friday Challenge: Hearts

After seeing this week’s challenge of hearts, I knew that I wanted to do something a little different.  When we headed out to the desert, I decided to look for hearts in nature.  It was fun to see how many hearts I found when I was actually looking.  Munchkin got excited by what I was finding,  so she joined in on the hunt for hearts. Foto Friday Challenge: Learning

This week, we headed to the library (at the last minute) to see a presentation on reptiles. The kids thought it was great that they actually got to touch the snakes, but they were bummed that they couldn’t touch the scorpions and tarantulas. I wasn’t able to snap a picture of Munchkin petting the snake due to how they did the line for the “snake petting”. They had all of the kids sitting on the floor for the presentation.  The presentors did a great job keeping the program moving along while maintaining good interaction with the kids.  Munchkin was more…
