This week, we headed to the library (at the last minute) to see a presentation on reptiles. The kids thought it was great that they actually got to touch the snakes, but they were bummed that they couldn’t touch the scorpions and tarantulas. I wasn’t able to snap a picture of Munchkin petting the snake due to how they did the line for the “snake petting”.
They had all of the kids sitting on the floor for the presentation. The presentors did a great job keeping the program moving along while maintaining good interaction with the kids. Munchkin was more than eager to answer questions about reptiles. lol!
I don’t remember what was being said at this point, but Munchkin was really interested. She had a great time with her friends learning about reptiles.

great job! and those snakes! ack!!!! lol hard enough to find a dead one, probably a good thing I don't live near any dangerous ones! lol
Sorry the snakes are so creepy.
Growing up, I was the one terrorizing little boys with creepy crawlies. lol! Needless to say, they don't bother me. Guess the child comes by her love of all animals (and creepy crawlies) honestly. 😉
Oh boy! Wish I could have been there to learn about reptiles too.. fascinating.. I love how you did the black and white and just the snake was colored.. YOW!!
The first and last- definitely my favorites- you can see her just soaking it all up!
I absolutely love that last shot! My kids love snakes so they would have been glued to what the woman was saying too. Great job!
These are all very good. What photo editing software do you use to color your photos?
Wow, those first and last shots are amazing! I like the editing.
These were all just done in photobucket. My photo editing software that I was using isn't compatible with Windows 7, so I'm saving for new software (and a good sale).
OH I LOVE THAT LAST ONE!! Here eyes and her mouth – they are GREAT! Man, I wish our library did more stuff like that!
what a neat learning experience
I wouldnt have liked it
even though we dont have snakes in New Zealand I have a real fear of them
glad Munchkin found it so interesting love the last photo
WHERE does she get her gorgeous eyes?!? That top photo is fabulous. I love her confident manner and her single finger hand raise! 🙂
It is so fun when a library has cool programs like that. Our old library did that~not our new one. 🙁
