Our Monday was filled with activity. I seemed to spend a good bit of the day in the kitchen. After breakfast, I started a roast with potatoes and carrots in the crockpot. Recently, Munchkin discovered that she really likes Kiwi fruit.  It makes a delicious easy snack in the afternoons.  I’ve enjoyed Kiwi for as long as I can remember.  I like the tart, not-quite-ripe Kiwi as well as the sweet, very ripe Kiwi.  I remember enjoying these special treats when I was a child.  Munchkin wasn’t sold on them until this week.  I sliced up a few for my after lunch snack, and she asked to try one.  She took her first bite and promptly asked if she could have more.  Before I knew it, the plate was gone.  She’s now…

Oriental Trading Company has lots of fun different food picks which add a little fun to a simple wrap.  By using a fish cookie cutter on the watermelon, I was able to create a fun, simple under water lunch for Munchkin.
