Project 365 – #099 On Friday, we were blessed with the sweet sound of raindrops on our windows. Munchkin put on her coat and rain boots and headed outside to play. The rain cooled down the temps and cleared the air. I so enjoy the lovely smell of spring rain.

Project 365 – #098 That little bird has chosen his shelter. Above it are the stars and the deep heaven of worlds. Project 365 – #097 Hope is the thing with feathers That perches in the soul, And sings the tune without the words, and never stops at all. ~ Emily Dickenson ~ Yesterday, Munchkin and I were looking around at all of the blooming flowers in our yard and in the yards around our neighborhood. The bees were drawn to the sweet fragrance of the blossoming bushes. Hummingbirds flitted this way and that from one bush to the next. Pausing only briefly – just long enough for me to capture a brief glimpse of this tiny, amazing creature.

Project 365 – #094 Our furry family member has been ill since Thursday. We’ve had many long night as I play nurse to him. Plus, D has been tossing and turning due to back pain. Needless to day, sleep has eluded me lately. I’m exhausted. We were pretty concerned for a time because he was not himself, and he was very ill. We had an installer come to the house. Project 365 – #091 I blinked and the temperatures went soaring. It’s hard to believe it’s only April 1st when I look at the thermometer and step outside. (And no, it’s not raining nor is there a chance of rain. I’m not sure why the thermometer does that.) Earlier this week, we received a notice that the base pools would be opening today. Yep, the summer temps are starting to creep in already. The air conditioning is on full blast as I try to keep the upstairs at a comfortable temperature for sleeping. Running the ac on the 1st of…
