Project 365 – #018 Sometimes, when you’ve been cleaning, purging, and organizing for some time, you need a little extra motivation to keep moving.  Today, Munchkin decided that she wanted something with chocolate, so I whipped up a batch of gluten free chocolate chunk muffins. The delicious aroma filled the house as we continued to sort through bags and boxes.  When the timer went off, I headed to the kitchen and pulled the muffins out of the oven.  After a short period of cooling off, we bit into the warm muffins.  Mmmm…. CHRISTmas really wouldn’t be CHRISTmas without Christ.  God the Son came to earth to be born in a stable.  His first cradle was a manger even though His step-father was an excellent carpenter.  Jesus was willing to become man for us.  Many at the time thought the Messiah would come in and conquer the Romans and free the Jews of persecution.  Instead, He entered the world in a very unassuming way.  He was on His way to giving us the ultimate CHRISTmas gift – our salvation, our eternal salvation. One of the fun things about having a birthday at the end of October is that I can save that birthday money to purchase something in November during the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales.  This year, I decided to take advantage of an exceptional offer at JoAnn Fabrics on a Cricut personal cutter.  Munchkin didn’t know what to think of it all until she saw all of the many things that we could create – including paper dolls.
