2011 Library Loving Blog Challenge

2010 Library-Loving Blog Challenge

When I saw this is a library-loving blog challenge over at Brimful Curiosities, I knew that I would want to join in.  As a homeschooler, I love books, and we like to support our local libraries.  While we aren’t using our current library quite as much as we used our old library (because they did not have the online catalog available), we still want to support the library system!  (They have recently added that option, so we’ll probably be making more trips to the library again.) Fall Into Reading 2009

It’s hard to believe it’s already time for Callapidder Days Fall Into Reading again.  Wow!  Time has flown.  This time last year we were preparing for D’s return home.  I can’t believe it’s been almost a year since he’s been back!! Munchkin’s reading list for this year includes the Hank the Cowdog series by John R. Ericson and the Sarah series by Jim Baumgardner.  She also plans on reading several “how to draw” books and books on sharks. Starting July 1 Enviromom is going to walk (virtually) through a typical house and talk about waste that is generated in each room. They’ll offer tips and strategies for eliminating waste through the REDUCE, REUSE and RECYCLE model. They’ll take it slow, and over the course of the month they’ll cover the whole house.
