Gluten Free Veggie Tacos

Posted in Gluten Free, Homemaking, and Photography

One night this past week, I needed something quick and easy to make for dinner.  I checked in the pantry and fridge to see what I had available.  I came up with these tacos, and they ended up being such a huge hit that they were requested again the next day.  You could easy add more veggies of your choice. A Prayer in Spring

Project 365 – #066 Oh, give us pleasure in the flowers to-day; And give us not to think so far away As the uncertain harvest; keep us here All simply in the springing of the year. Before we knew it, the show was over, and it was time to head home.  If you ever get a chance to go see a performance, I highly recommend it.  This performance was just a practice to get ready for the real thing, but…

USMC Drum and Bugle Corps: Part One

Posted in Military Life, and Photography

Project 365 – #063 One of the very cool things about where we live is that we get to enjoy the practice sessions of the USMC Drum and Bugle Corps – Commandant’s Own.  We don’t need to get all dressed up.  We just get to go and sit on the grassy parade deck and enjoy the show.  This year, as usual, the weather was beautiful.  Not too hot, not too cold.  We walked over to the parade deck with some friends to enjoy the presentation. Tomorrow, I’ll share pictures from the silent drill team.  I always enjoy watching their precision…
