USMC Drum and Bugle Corps: Part One

USMC Drum and Bugle Corps

Project 365 – #063

One of the very cool things about where we live is that we get to enjoy the practice sessions of the USMC Drum and Bugle Corps – Commandant’s Own.  We don’t need to get all dressed up.  We just get to go and sit on the grassy parade deck and enjoy the show.  This year, as usual, the weather was beautiful.  Not too hot, not too cold.  We walked over to the parade deck with some friends to enjoy the presentation.

Tomorrow, I’ll share pictures from the silent drill team.  I always enjoy watching their precision movements with their riffles.  Lots of practice – loads of focus and dedication.

  3. Very neat! When I was a kid we lived on the Air Force Base that the Thunderbirds practiced over. We always got the first show of the season.
