Project 365 – #223 How do you scare Grandma?  You round up the grand children, you take them to the Grand Canyon, and you allow them to explore just a bit.  Then, you make sure to take some great pictures near the edge of the Canyon.  Needless to say, poor Grandma had several near heart attacks during our trip to the Grand Canyon. The Scorpion Queen

Project 365 – #220 Before my sister and her family headed over to Arizona to visit, the story of the Scorpion Queen was told to my nieces.  The very bare bones version of the story follows – a story of a young girl who found a scorpion ring.  The little girl found out from a local Native American that the ring was a one-of-a-kind ring that had special powers.  The key was that it could never hit the ground or the powers would be gone.  The ring would protect the little girl from all of the scorpions.
