D checked in to his new duty station yesterday and is already staying over night tonight. Hopefully, this is not an indication of how things will be… Now, the good part of this is that it allowed me to really get things done in the kitchen. Tackle It Tuesday: Gluten Free Kitchen

This week’s tackle is an interesting tackle (at least for me). Since we’re going gluten-free at our house, I need to go through the fridge, freezer, and pantry to pull all non-safe foods. Eventually, our whole house will be completely gluten-free, but for now, I need to move all that unsafe stuff out of the kitchen. D will then be able to grab whatever out of the fridge, freezer, or pantry and know that it’s safe. We’re doing whatever possible to make life easier for him. I won’t be throwing out the food. I haven’t participated in Meal Plan Monday for a while now, but it’s time to get back in the swing of things. D is starting a gluten-free diet, so menu planning is going to be critical (especially until we get the hang of things).
