During the week, D eats waffles that I have made and frozen for him. (I’m not getting up that early and making waffles. lol!) If for some reason there are no waffles ready, he’ll eat cereal, but he prefers the waffles. I always wonder if he’ll get tired of them, but he doesn’t. It’s just something that works for us. Family Time & Field Trips

Sometimes, I spend a good bit of time planning out our field trips. I’ll do research, and we’ll do a lapbook or read books about where we are going. Other times, we just go and learn from the information available on site. We will pick up brochures and sometimes a book to read after the fact. On Veterans Day, we try to do something to remember all of the Veterans who have fought so bravely for our country. This year, we didn’t have anything particular in mind.
