A Delicious Ooops: Baked Waffle Surprise

I was making a quadruple batch of belguim waffles for D to put in the freezer, and I started having a problem with some of the waffles sticking for some reason.  I was doing nothing different, so it was just one of those crazy things.  The crazy, torn apart waffles looked horrible, but they tasted good.  Not wanting the waffles to go to waste, I decided to try an experiment with them. Munchkin and I picked up a really cute gecko kite on clearance at Target for just over a dollar.  When we went camping over Memorial Day weekend, the kite came along “just in case”.  Munchkin doesn’t remember ever flying a kite.  She did when she was younger, but apparently, she no longer remembers.  She was really looking forward to learning.
