Gluten Free Funnel Cake

Posted in Gluten Free

After going gluten free, going to the fairs just didn’t seem quite the same because we could no longer order funnel cakes.  I decided it was time for us to enjoy these delicious treats once again.  I was pleasantly surprised when it worked!  Munchkin and her friends quickly gobbled up not one, but two of the funnel cakes. Gluten Free Funnel Cake Recipe Ingredients: 1 1/2 Cups Gluten Free Bisquick 1 tsp cinnamon 1 egg 1 Cup milk (can use almond milk if dairy/casein free) 1 tsp vanilla Directions: Heat up oil for frying to 375 degrees F In a…

Gluten Free Bisquick

Posted in Gluten Free, and Reviews

A few months ago I heard rumors of a gluten free Bisquick.  I kept looking in my local grocery stores, but I never saw it.  It was available online, but I tend to like to purchase locally when I’m trying something for the first time.  Yes, I’m weird like that.  Anyway, I was more than thrilled to be given the opportunity to try out the new gluten free Bisquick.  Many ideas filled my mind as I tried to decide what I wanted to create. Bible and Character Studies

Posted in Christian Life, and Homeschooling

As I wrote about a couple of weeks ago, one of the new things that we’ve added to Munchkin’s studies recently is the Keepers of the Faith: Keepers at Home program.  We’re still working on various details and figuring out exactly how we want to implement the program into our schedule, but slowing, the pieces are falling into place.  As part of the program, Munchkin will be working on Bible and character studies.  Using some resources I found online, I assembled 3 different workbooks to get her started. Currently, Munchkin is working on the Proverbs 31 study.  I’ve included some…
