Project 365 – #246 Before D’s surgery, we purchased a bike trainer for him to be able to use for fitness after his surgery. He used it until he was able to ride outside. We won’t go into the fact that shortly after he started riding outside he took a nasty spill. Thankfully, it didn’t injure his back. His doctor cleared him to ride, and he needs to work to get back in shape. Riding is one of the things he uses as part of his fitness routine. We enjoy taking bike rides as a family, but the summer months…

We’ve enjoyed some of the fresh corn, but today, it was time to get it all shucked, boiled, and frozen to enjoy at a later date. I had forgotten how much I really don’t care for shucking that many ears of corn at once. There is a reason that we all had to do it as kids.
