Project 365 – #256 Last night was a crazy, tiring night, so I needed a little pick-me-up today.  Fresh flowers always seem to add a little light and life to a room, but I didn’t want to spend the money on purchasing flowers.  Then, I looked out my window and saw my flowering bushes that could use a bit of pruning.  I quickly grabbed my shears and headed out to trim off a few pieces of the flowering bush.  Once I brought them back inside, I made a cone out of cardboard paper to hold my new flowers.  I decided…

Project 365 – #255 While Munchkin has been doing high school work in some subjects for a little while now, this year is the first year where she’ll be doing high school level work in all subject, so she’s **gulp** officially in high school.  Yikes!  How did that happen?  She’s excited, but a little leery of the extra work that comes along with doing high school level work in all courses.  It has been fun planning some of the classes for this year because I’m starting to have the opportunity to really tailor her learning to her passions/interests due to having completed…
