I was trying to decide what we should do for our Christmas studies this year, but nothing really was coming to mind. I have to admit that I’m normally not one to use sugar alternatives other than things like honey or coconut sugar. Cranberry Macadamia Nut White Chocolates

I admit that I have a fondness for white chocolate even though I know it’s not the healthiest of treats. I rarely eat it which makes these treats extra special. I found some white chocolate chips inexpensively on Saturday, so I snagged a couple of bags. I decided to make these treats with some leftover dried cranberries and macadamia nuts that I had on hand. The measurements are approximate as I just added ingredients until I liked the results. Reflections on the Cabin Flooding

Time and again, we heard the same statements from the various people who came to the cabin after the pipe burst and subsequent flooding: Wow! You guys are way out here. I didn’t even know this area existed! I can’t believe how much work you did. You guys have really good attitudes about all of this. The first one always made us chuckle.
