The rain has been steadily falling since early this morning. What a wonderful sight!! Ironically, there are many people in the area that are complaining about the rain because it is messing up their plans for today. Either they’re clueless or they don’t care about what’s been going on in our area. The major fire continues to burn. Estimates state that over 800 acres have been burned so far. The area around us is filled thick with smoke, and the smell is coming into the house now. The good news is that we are suppose to get rain tomorrow. Please pray that the rain comes, puts out this fire, and clears out the air.

…you walk up to the computer repair desk and the person behind the desk says, “Oh, ya, I remember this computer.” **sigh** Yes, they know me and my computer. lol! The only good thing is that it is under warranty. Now, if they follow their policy, I should technically get a brand new computer as the laptop has been sent out for the same problem more than 4 times. We’ll see. Our state was plagued with brush fires all day yesterday and well into the night. The firefighters were kept very busy rushing from one place to the next. Some fires were caused by ignorant people (such as dumping hot coals unto a dry lawn or burning leaves while the wind was blowing at speeds up to 60 mph) and others were caused by downed power lines. Whatever the cause, there was quite a bit of damage. Several families lost their homes, but as of now, no one was reported to be killed or seriously injured. Things could have been much,…
