…you walk up to the computer repair desk and the person behind the desk says, “Oh, ya, I remember this computer.” **sigh** Yes, they know me and my computer. lol! The only good thing is that it is under warranty. Now, if they follow their policy, I should technically get a brand new computer as the laptop has been sent out for the same problem more than 4 times. We’ll see.
Right now, I’m more concerned with the fact that I’m going to be without my laptop for 2-3 weeks while it’s in the shop. Ugh! Add that to the fact that I had just downloaded a bunch of pictures, ebooks, and my tax documents to it, and it died before I could back all those things up… Well, prayer is a wonderful thing, my friend. 😉
oh – I’m so sorry! I hope this gets resolved quickly and that you will be able to get your information back! (And a new computer!)
I think they should have given you a new one after the first time. When I got my new computer, I was supposed to download the disks for start up in case I needed them later. It came with enough CDs to do that but the first three wouldn’t burn. I thought it was the computer because I’d just gotten it. Tech support told me I needed to some major thing. Well instead I went and bought new cds and they worked.
I am praying you get it back soon and have all your material on it. We all need to remember to back up right away but we all let it slip. My daught lost a lot of photos once. I try to back those up often. And always burn a CD of my downloaded music right away.
