Time of Rest

Posted in Family, Homeschooling, and Thoughts

Munchkin woke up feeling quite ill yet this morning. Thankfully, the ear pain had passed, so the day, while difficult, wasn’t nearly as bad. Since she wanted me with her in the living room, I decided to take the opportunity to read and get some planning done for the upcoming school year. I was able to get a whole book ready today which was such a treat. I truly love to read, and I don’t often have the opportunity to just sit down and read an entire book in a few sittings. It was refreshing. I was able to get…

Still Under the Weather

Posted in Family, and Thoughts

My poor little Munchkin is still under the weather. Her ear is now bothering her. At this point, I don’t believe it is an ear infection. I think it’s just irritated due to a case of the stuffies and some drainage. I guess we’ll see as the days pass. Needless to say, it was a bit of a rocky day here. I’m really not use to Munchkin be ill so frequently. It’s been a rough year for illness. Munchkin lazed around both in the bedroom with me and out in the living room. Yes, more episodes of Little House were…

Our Day

Posted in Family, and Thoughts

Munchkin woke up feeling under the weather again today. As the day progressed, she began to feel more ill. She curled up in bed today, and we watched some Little House on the Prairie episodes. We’re slowly working our way through all 9 seasons. Our library has the whole series, so that has been really nice. As the night comes to a close, I’m starting to feel “yucky” as well. I’ll be praying that this all passes quickly. I think the rainy weather and the constant changing from hot to cold is taking it’s toll on us. “And he said…

He maketh me lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my…

Lazy Days

Posted in Family, Homeschooling, and Thoughts

I’ve been dealing with a lot of headaches recently, and for me, the best medicine is a dark, quiet room. So, Munchkin has been having a lot of free time after her schoolwork is done. She’s been building forts, playing with toy dinosaurs, playing with Lego’s, playing with her dolls, and reading. Oh, I can’t forget all of the flips and somersaults that she’s been working on as well. It’s been raining, so there hasn’t been a lot of outside time this week. She’s looking forward to a nice day, so she can practice for baseball. I am blessed with…
